Hanspeter Rellstab – Chairman & CEO

Hanspeter has 20+ years experience in the Transaction Banking industry working in various senior positions for Citibank, Credit Suisse, ABN AMRO, and RBS. He brings along a wealth of experience and expertise in trade and commodity finance, cash and liquidity management, and transactional FX. With his deep subject matter expertise he helps to develop sustainable growth strategies, capital optimization initiatives, regulatory compliance checks, and product standards in Transaction Banking.

Hanspeter has spent most of his career in senior positions at leading Financial Institutions with full P&L responsibility. He brings along extensive experience in managing global teams across all regions and is intimately familiar with credit risk management, compliance (regulatory, market conduct, integrity, AML, sanctions) as well as risk distribution and portfolio management. Over the years Hanspeter was actively involved with Industry organizations such as the ATFA where has was a Board Member, and he is registered with the respective regulatory bodies (such as FINMA). Most recently, he was a Member of the Executive Board of RBS (Switzerland) where he was also on the ALCO. Hanspeter has an extensive network across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Asia/Pacific and is well-respected in the Industry. He has excellent verbal and written communication skills and is fluent in English, German, French, and Spanish.
